A warm welcome to Christmas Cottage, a charming 300 year old cottage where we have extended hospitality for over 40 years, nestled on pretty Ayot Green, close to the historic village of Welwyn in Hertfordshire.
We offer luxurious, bright, en-suite bedrooms, with WiFi and Flat Screen TV, overlooking our beautiful garden, swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Each room has tea & coffee making facilities, complimentary water and chocolate. Delicious Full English breakfast is served for the hearty, or more healthy options are available, we do our best to accommodate dietary and special requests.

Excellent evening meals can be found just 5 minutes stroll from Christmas Cottage. Fine French dining is just around the corner at award winning local pub The Waggoners or cosy family pub option The Red Lion is just a few steps further.

Less than 30 minutes by train to the sights of Central London or Cambridge, there is also rich local interest nearby, including historical Hatfield House, George Bernard Shaw’s home, Knebworth House and the old Roman town of Verulamium, St Albans. Fabulous country walks, including the estate of Brocket Hall, are minutes from our doorstep.
